design contest 2023
This year, we are inviting the tea community to participate in our design contest for the festival posters, t-shirt, program!
First Prize: 4 Tickets to the festival, 4 t-shirts printed with the design, and a tea gift basket
Second Prize: 3 Tickets to the festival and a tea gift basket
Third Prize: 2 Tickets to the festival
All tickets include the festival cup and tote bag
ALL AGES ENCOURAGED TO APPLY
Please submit designs no later than April 1st
1. Design must include some element of tea - whether it be the plant, teaware, cups, pouring tea, drinking tea, or other. Something to indicate it relates to tea.
2. The color for 2023 is teal. Teal represents open communication and clarity of thought, and is symbolic of the infinity of the sea and sky. It is not necessary to have your design in teal, but know it will likely be the background or an element on posters.
3. The design for the poster can be in multiple colors but will need to be in one or two colors for the t-shirt. So a design that can have different versions would be ideal (one version being monochrome or two colors).
3. Designs should be in a format of JPEG or PDF.
4. If you would like your name on the design, please let us know your name preferences.
If you agree to let us use your design, we reserve the right to add our logo, change features of your design (we will ask first), and retain the right to use it in current and future festival prints.
