11:30 am - Heritage Teas of Việt Nam
11:30 am - 12:30 pm; Anna Ye
The world of Vietnamese tea is rich, vast and ever-growing but yet remains relatively under the radar to many tea enthusiasts. Our goal is to expand the narrative of where good teas are from and spotlight Việt Nam's vibrant tea culture.
We're going to start off with briefly learning about the country's tea history and taste two heritage teas from old growth tea areas in the northern provinces. These are teas grown in biodiverse environments, crafted by makers from ethnic minority communities who call the country’s mountainous regions home. Join us in celebrating the land and the people that make it all possible at origin.
