ABOUT US
TeaFestPDX is more than a festival, it’s a community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re a collective of tea visionaries, small business owners, and dedicated volunteers who believe in the power of tea to bring people together. Since our very first festival in 2017, inspired by the vibrant Northwest Tea Festival in Seattle, we’ve been brewing something uniquely Portland: a celebration of tea culture rooted in connection, education, and joy.
Our vision is simple yet profound: to create space where people of all cultural traditions can gather, learn, and share in the timeless ritual of tea. Whether you’re a lifelong tea lover or just beginning your journey, TeaFestPDX is your invitation to connect, sip, and celebrate.

Although American-born, I have always cherished my British heritage and the traditions of a proper afternoon tea. For nearly 30 years, I have enjoyed hosting traditional British tea parties that celebrate warmth, elegance, and fellowship. As the British Tea Tent Coordinator, I’m delighted to share the customs and hospitality of British tea culture with TeaFestPDX attendees. I’m also a proud member of the Daughters of the British Empire, a small business owner, and a firm believer that a beautifully set table and a well-steeped pot of tea bring people together.
