While camellia sinensis dominates our cups, human history is richly steeped in the ritual of cultivating and brewing local plants. In this session, we will uncover the fascinating myths, wellness properties, and deep cultural roots behind iconic regional infusions.
To guide our journey, you will experience a curated flight of these historic plants. We will begin by exploring the crisp, stimulating energy of traditional cold-brewed energizers, including Yerba Mate and Yaupon, before transitioning into the aromatic warmth of relaxing hot steeps such as Linden. This interactive session will leave you with an expanded palate and a deeper understanding of the historical context of your favorite infused plants.

Her passion for flavor profiles has led her to travel the globe, exploring the world's finest tea regions and vineyards alike. Beyond her work collaborating on unique herbal tea blends under the name Wildleaf, she also designs and leads immersive wine tours across Europe through her company, 8-Directions Travel (www.8-directions.com), with an upcoming trip to Spain this October.
