11:45 - 12:30 pm - Miller Hall 1; Tasting Chinese Teas (Jade Falcon)

Keeping tasting notes of tea can help deepen your knowledge of various teas. This class teaches the basics of tea tastings using a Chinese grading system -- from looking at dry tea leaves, assessing the smell, and judging the flavor notes. Jade will share a template to build your own tasting journal. You are encouraged to use some or all of this knowledge to build your own consistent tasting guidelines to help you on your tea journey.
