Hello Tea Enthusiasts!
TEA FEST PDX is happening again on July 21 and we are growing. After a very successful first year we have decided to reserve the whole World Forestry Center, which doubles the space in which we can provide classes and workshops, vendor booths, Tea Here Now areas, and other tea-related activities like yoga, tai chi, and musical performances. Whether your are a tea connoisseur or simply tea-curious, come and join us for a second year of Tea Fest: A day full of celebration devoted to community and tea.
Why Tea Fest PDX?
To celebrate and learn about tea in all its forms!
Saturday 21 July 2018. 9:30 AM - 6 PM.
World Forestry Center, Cheatham Hall
4033 Southwest Canyon Road, Portland, OR 97221 (click icon for map)
$10 at the door (free for children under 12)
Parking + Commute:
Parking near the World Forestry Center is difficult due to the popular Zoo and Children's Museum which are nearby. Luckily, the red or blue MAX lines travel directly to the Zoo stop, which is right across the road from the tea festival event! If you do choose to drive, parking at Washington Park is $8 all day and $2 per hour. Since parking availability is limited and varies due to events at other venues within the park, it may be helpful to visit the below site which shows real time parking availability, provides information on taking transit, the free seasonal shuttle, and more.
We have some news to pass on about our commemorative cups. The cups are in L.A customs, and won’t make it in time for the festival. We will provide paper tasting cups. We encourage you to bring your own small cup to reduce waste, and increase your tea tasting experience! As well, if you would like a commemorative cup when they do arrive, please let us know by sending an email to us firstname.lastname@example.org
